I will admit that I love subscription boxes. It’s always fun to receive something new in the mail every month. Maybe it’s because it feels like Christmas morning opening up a fresh package or maybe it’s because subscription boxes normally have products that you’ve never used before and its fun sampling products that you’ve never tried.
When I first discovered BoxyCharm Subscription Box I was very impressed that in every box you receive 4-5 full-sized products worth over $100 from well-known brands (such as Smashbox, Tarte and Wander Beauty) and from brands that are new and upcoming. I also found out that they try to include brands and products that are cruelty-free which is something that I really love!

Back in May of 2018 I emailed BoxyCharm about wanting to try out their Subscription Box to give my honest review to you guys.
When the mail man showed up to drop off my first BoxyCharm box, I couldn’t contain my excitement I was smiling and eagerly waiting like a little kid for candy. Each of the products in my first box were from brands that I was unfamiliar with but I didn’t mind. My first box came with a variety of items such as: primer, makeup brushes, highlighter and contour kit, liquid lipstick and liquid eyeliner. I was very impressed it was almost enough different products for me to create a whole new look .
So far I have received a total of 5 boxes and I loved mostly all products in each box. Many of you may ask what if I get products that I won’t use or don’t like? (Which I think will rarely happen) But if you do get a product that you don’t like you can always resell it on an app or Facebook marketplace or you could re-gift it during the holidays/special occasions.
WHAT I LIKED:
- 4-5 Full Sized Products
- Cruelty-Free Brands and Products
- Good Quality Makeup for only $21/month
WHAT I DIDN’t LIKE:
- I truly couldn’t find anything that I disliked about it.
Overall I truly think that BoxyCharm Subscription Box is best choice when trying to decide on the perfect makeup subscription box for yourself or someone else. I was honestly impressed by how well that I liked it and how good of quality the makeup was. I even found some new makeup brands that I really liked. It would be a great gift during the holidays or even as a birthday gift.
Below is more photos of all the boxes that I received.
